Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1959) is an American author, and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She appeared regularly of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She is a graduate of the degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to a JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She served as a legal correspondent on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She taught law as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. Wiehl worked as a Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
