April Bowlby has been an American actor as well as model for a period of more than 20 years. The actress was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actor best known for her role as Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. She began her career in modeling before moving onto films and TV shows. The first time she appeared on screen was as an extra in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation then single-episode roles in different series. Then, she was offered the role as Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular series Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby widespread recognition throughout the world. She was the main character as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web show Titans. She will be reprising her role in a spinoff from the Doom Patrol series. Bowlby also appeared on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter as well as Sands of Oblivion 2. Following her appearance on screen in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature) along with From Prada, to Nada she debuted on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby has appeared as a guest on several TV shows, including CSI: NY which featured Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. She also appeared as Meg in How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby recently took the role as Natasha in the role of a 12-year-old girl in All Roads Lead Home. This 2007 film revolves around a little girl losing her mother after an automobile accident. Bowlby plays Mia on the set of The Slammin Salmon a 2008 comedy. She lives in Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she has blue eyes. She is not married, and she has no kids.
