Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as the mother of her is English. She was born on the South London Council Estate. She went to The Brit School aged 14. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. The four brothers she had were also in the family and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She danced. When she reached just 2 1/2 years old and a half, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Until she graduated from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention the few.
