Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is the daughter of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as the mother of her is English. She was born on the South London Council Estate. She went to The Brit School aged 14. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. While attending the school, she appeared in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting with a film titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Then, she played Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in six episodes each from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi as the main character in ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe played the lead role on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy that was released in the year 2008. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After two years as the main character she was a guest in the very first episode of season 3. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he has also appeared alongside Madekwe on the TV show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. The four brothers she had were also in the family and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She danced. When she reached just 2 1/2 years old and a half, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Until she graduated from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention the few.
