Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She moved to California at the age of five. She was raised mainly living in Orange County. Her big break was in 2015 when she earned her degrees from University of California San Diego. Pernas was a popular actress who made small appearances in NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless she was a well-known name on the soap. The actress, who quit the soap in 2016, got the part of Catalina in the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin. The model, who can speak four languages has since appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The role she played as Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between 2019 until 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been engaged to Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance started after Chrishell Stause and the This Is Us actress split in the month of November. Pernas Hartley got married in secret with Pernas on May 20, 2021.
