Born on October 18, 1984 American Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female skiers and men on the basis of top scores. She's one of the most famous and most loved skiers in the past. Caroline Vonn who is also is known as Lindsey Vonn and competes as an Olympic skier with the US Ski Team. She won the World Cup four times. She is a well-known athlete throughout American the history of sports. She's one of just six women to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She has won an impressive 82 World Cup victories in total. In the wake of the World Championships that took place in Sweden one of the most talented and most experienced ski racers from America will be retiring. Her retirement came after a long list of ailments. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media.
